Witnesses were interviewed and described seeing the victims, Adam Darrah and Marcus Macaulay on the road with gunshot wounds on Clay Hill Rd.When they realized what happened, they rushed to help. One person called 911.

Albany police say the first test came back inconclusive for a cause of death. A second round of testing is being done on a Pitbull puppy that was set on fire in February. The testing is supposed to determine how the dog died. This is a story NewsChannel 13 has covered extensively. It was a gruesome death that caught the attention of the entire Capital Region. How the Pitbull puppy died is still under investigation. Albany police have a good idea of what happened.

8 of the alleged predators committed crimes in Upstate New York. The FBI worked with law enforcement nationwide to arrest the alleged predators as part of Operation Restore Justice. Some crimes happened here in the Capital Region. The FBI sent NewsChannel 13 eight criminal complaints that have horrific and graphic details about crimes committed to children. NewsChannel will not be sharing the details of those crimes, but one of the youngest victims is four-years-old.

Do travelers at Albany International Airport have it? Time to get real or be prepared for a real headache. Homeland Security reports 81% of travelers have an id that comply with Real ID. NewsChannel 13 went to the airport to ask people if they have one. Most do but some still need to stop by the DMV. “They (TSA) remind us at every airport that we need to get the Real ID,” Tony Hason said. Hason came back from Destin, Florida on Tuesday, May 6. He said he did not have a problem getting through TSA.

The man out on parole more than a decade after being convicted of hitting and killing two teenagers in a DWI crash was back in court Monday evening. This time Dennis Drue is charged in an entirely different case. His parole is now in question.
