8 of the alleged predators committed crimes in Upstate New York. The FBI worked with law enforcement nationwide to arrest the alleged predators as part of Operation Restore Justice. Some crimes happened here in the Capital Region. The FBI sent NewsChannel 13 eight criminal complaints that have horrific and graphic details about crimes committed to children. NewsChannel will not be sharing the details of those crimes, but one of the youngest victims is four-years-old.

Do travelers at Albany International Airport have it? Time to get real or be prepared for a real headache. Homeland Security reports 81% of travelers have an id that comply with Real ID. NewsChannel 13 went to the airport to ask people if they have one. Most do but some still need to stop by the DMV. “They (TSA) remind us at every airport that we need to get the Real ID,” Tony Hason said. Hason came back from Destin, Florida on Tuesday, May 6. He said he did not have a problem getting through TSA.

Seven horses, a goat and a pig were rescued from a bad situation in Corinth. The owner was charged with nine counts of animal cruelty. NewsChannel 13 was able to meet Jazzaphone at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga Springs. He’s a registered thoroughbred that never had the chance to race. Jazzaphone is recovering from a necessary surgery days after being seized from a Corinth home on Monday, March 31. Nine animals were taken. Deputy Nikki Voegler helped save Jazzaphone’s life.
