A motorist submitted to a chemical test as part of the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office's investigation into the death of a woman in a two-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon. Sheriff Noah Robinson said shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday that his office will provide an update on the incident later in the day or on Wednesday. The names of the two motorists involved have not been released. The accident occurred on the 9700 block of St. Joseph Avenue, just north of Wimberg Road.

EVANSVILLE — The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) held a ceremonial groundbreaking Monday for the Innovation Center for Science and Health, a facility it says will expand learning opportunities for EVSC's Academy of Science & Medicine (ASM). The building will be located at the site of the former Welborn Clinic at 421 Chestnut St. in Downtown Evansville.
