    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say a man was taken to the hospital after driving drunk Saturday afternoon. Around 3:45 p.m., someone called 911 to report a pickup truck that was swerving “all over the road” on Covert Avenue. The caller told police the truck almost crashed into several vehicles and was now on Lodge Avenue. Police say after the driver turned onto Riverside and eventually Sunburst Boulevard, a “Good Samaritan” was able to stop the truck and remove the keys from the ignition.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Three men were arrested Saturday night after jumping someone leaving a sporting event. That’s according to the Evansville Police Department, who responded to Linwood Avenue around 6 p.m. Saturday. The 911 caller told police several men, two of which had guns, attacked her son and left in a black Jeep. The victim says he was at the Dust Bowl basketball event when a man wearing all black snatched the marijuana blunt resting behind his ear.

    WEBSTER CO., Ky. (WFIE) - County officials are reaching out residents in Providence to warn them about about a water leak. Webster County Emergency Management shared an alert on social media asking all members of the community to conserve water. According to EMA officials, the city is experiencing water loss due to an unknown leak. At this time, it’s unclear if the city plans to make any boil advisory warnings.     PIKE CO., Ind. (WFIE) - A man wanted by authorities in Illinois was caught across the state border in Indiana thanks to a tipline. On Friday, the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office announced they were looking for 66-year-old James Catt, a sex offender wanted for failing to register. At the time, authorities said he was considered armed and dangerous. A few days later, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana announced they caught Catt thanks to the “Submit-a-Tip” function on their website.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - An Evansville man previously facing a laundry list of charges is going to spend more time behind bars. 48-year-old Craig J. Barnett was sentenced to 182 days in jail for Resisting Law Enforcement. In April, police say Barnett jumped from a balcony and tried to run away to avoid arrest. Due to his fall, Barnett injured himself and was taken into custody. Investigators revealed Barnett had threated a former girlfriend with a knife after accusing her of cheating on him.
