University Health RetamaThe planned hospital on the corner of Retama Parkway and Lookout Road had its topping out ceremony April 14, with the final steel beam put on the top of the 5-story construction. The hospital—slated to open in early 2027—will employ about 1,000 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals, according to a news release. University Health Retama will have a 24/7 emergency department, advanced operating suites, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy.
