PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (WPEC) – Detectives in Florida say they’ve made an arrest in a scheme targeting older adults. The scheme involved pretending to find dropped cash and using sleight of hand to swipe debit cards. In one instance, surveillance video shows a woman walking out of a Whole Foods store in Delray Beach; her face was blurred for privacy. Right behind her, police say, was 32-year-old Romica Aciocanasei, a Romanian national who’s been using a fake identity.
