Matthew Wantman is now a four-time PGT title winner after claiming the win in Event #4: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em at the 2025 U.S. Poker Open. Wantman emerged victorious over the 103-entrant field to win the $231,300 first-place prize. Along with being Wantman's fourth career PGT title, it is his second U.S. Poker Open victory following his win in 2024 in Event #5: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em for $239,200.

The 2025 PGT season continued with another non-hold'em series of the season, with Pot-Limit Omaha players taking over the PokerGO Studio for the fifth installment of the PGT PLO Series. After being crowned the PGT Mixed Games champion, Chino Rheem followed that with a third-place finish on the PGT PLO Series leaderboard. The 506 PGT points he earned propelled him into top spot on the PGT leaderboard with 928 PGT points.

The seventh installment of the U.S. Poker Open will be the fifth series of the 2025 PGT season. The U.S. Poker Open will run from April 8-17, 2025, and will be held inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The eight-event schedule is a No-Limit Hold'em series with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to the $25,200 finale, with all events playing down to the final table of six. Those six players return the following day to conclude play on PokerGO.com.

The fifth installment of the PGT PLO Series will be the fourth series of the 2025 PGT season. The PGT PLO Series will run from March 25 to April 5, 2025, and will be held inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 11-event schedule is exclusively Pot-Limit Omaha events, with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to the $25,300 finale. There are also four bounty events, and for the first time in PGT PLO Series history, there will be a Mystery Bounty event.

The 2025 PGT season continued with the first non-hold'em series of the season as mixed game players took over the PokerGO Studio for PGT Mixed Games and Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Mixed Games. Chino Rheem dominated the PGT Mixed Games series and was crowned the PGT Mixed Games champion for the second time. Rheem amassed 384 PGT points, cashed three times, and moved to eighth on the PGT leaderboard with 422 PGT points.
