Documentary maker Will Sheers from Kentish Town, north London, offers a cuppa and a chat to strangers as part of his mission to combat loneliness and he has been hearing some poignant stories in return.     The mother of one of four teenagers killed in a crash in north Wales last year has taken her campaign for restrictions on young drivers to politicians in Westminster. Crystal Owen, from Shrewsbury, wants graduated licences for new qualifiers, to include a minimum learning period, restrictions on passenger numbers and rules around driving at night. Her son Harvey, 17, died with friends Jevon Hirst, Wilf Fitchett and Hugo Morris after their car overturned on the A4085 in Gwynedd, in November.

    Tony Hudgell has had an operation to secure his hip and enable the lengthening of one of his legs [BBC]A nine-year old boy who had both legs amputated following abuse as a baby by his birth parents has had life-changing surgery. Tony Hudgell, from West Malling in Kent, has undergone five hours of surgery at Sheffield Children's Hospital. He had an operation to help secure his permanently dislocated hip and attach an adjustable frame which will lengthen one of his legs.
