    WATERTOWN -- As the Wastewater Treatment Plant has been managing ongoing issues with clogged waste-activated sludge lines for the last several years, the City's Public Works Commission approved the purchase of a Sewer-747-FR2000 Eco Trailer Jetter from Brown Equipment Company for $103,055.64 during Wednesday's meeting. With limited access points for cleaning, these lines are six inches in diameter and span over 900 feet in length.

    WATERTOWN - With a new Mayor and Common Council, it was only a matter of time before the City of Watertown Boards and Committees brought fresh appointments; some new, and some familiar. The City's Town Square Programming Commission saw the biggest influx with four new member-terms brought to the team. Stephanie Broere is replacing Jody Purtell as its Main Street Representative and Kerry Kneser is serving his first two-year term as the Park and Rec Representative.
