    Albertsons Companies, Inc. is jumping into the office supply delivery game with the expansion of its ecommerce platform to more than 2,000 locations. The grocery chain said on Tuesday the expansion includes the following banners: Albertsons, ACME, Safeway, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Star Market, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, and Randalls. Albertsons operates some 2,270 stores, 1,728 in-store pharmacies, 405 fuel centers, 22 dedicated distribution centers, and 19 manufacturing facilities, as of Feb.

The New York City-based social media and commerce company, which targets college students and others in the Gen Z demographic, argues in the lawsuit that San Francisco-based last-mile delivery company Instacart and its business partner Partiful are competing head-on and using the company’s trademarked name.
