New Delhi-based studio Architecture Discipline has created a sea-facing, mass-timber home covered in charred-wood cladding in Goa, India. The linear home was constructed using 11 glued laminated timber (glulam) portal frames, which according to the practice is "a first in India". Glued laminated timber, more commonly known as glulam, is a form of high-strength mass-timber with a low carbon footprint.

Custom stone furnituremaker Form(LA) has opened the doors of its first flagship store in Los Angeles – specifically a pivoting marble door punctuated by nine porthole windows. The 5,500-square-foot (510-square-metre) store is housed in a West Hollywood building that is nearly a century old. Form(LA) founder Jordan Mosslar first started the "long and meticulous" process of designing and converting the space into a showroom back in March 2022.

Architecture practice Studio Saar has created a lily-shaped, reusable pavilion called Srivan, which was unveiled at Design Mumbai last month. Built to cover the breakout area for visitors to the trade show at the Jio World Garden in the heart of Mumbai, the pavilion was named was derived from Hindu principles that describe Srivan as a "forest of prosperity".

Mumbai studio MuseLAB has used bulbous mint-green displays and berry-red accents across the interiors of bathware showroom Sorbet. Located in an upscale Mumbai neighbourhood, the 241-square-metre space is the flagship store of local bathroom brand Aquant. MuseLAB co-founders Huzefa Rangwala and Jasem Pirani sought to create an interior that diverges wildly from traditional bathware showrooms.

Paris-based Littow Architectes has designed a group off-grid holiday homes on the coast in the Helsinki archipelago, Finland. Named the Majamaja Off-Grid Village, the cabins are located on a rocky site on the water's edge, which had little access to transportation infrastructure or public utilities. The retreat was developed by Majamaja, a Finnish brand specialising in providing off-grid living solutions, which was co-founded by Littow Architectes founder Pekka Littow.

Collector Rajan Bijlani has opened up his London residence for an exhibition featuring highlights from his 500-piece collection of furniture made for Le Corbusier's master plan of Chandigarh in the 1950s and 60s. The Syncretic Voices exhibition, curated by Bijlani together with art advisers Michael Jefferson and Truls Blaasmo, features mid-century originals alongside contemporary pieces by artists and designers from the South Asian diaspora.
