Philadelphia is often dubbed the "City of Firsts."The birthplace of America is home to the first hospital, first zoo, first central bank, first U.S. Mint and first U.S. stock exchange — just to name a few. Historical landmarks dot the region, from Washington Crossing to Valley Forge to Brandywine Battlefield. As a native of Philadelphia, I vividly recall my first trips to the city’s many historic sites.
