PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — It has been a very pleasant weekend, and Easter Monday should be another warm and dry day, but the rest of the week could see rain each day. There will be a mix of sun and clouds on Monday with a high near 83 and the low Monday night around 64. After that, a weak cold front from the west will bring cooler temperatures and a chance for rain each day. The highs each day will remain in the low to mid-70s, with lows each night near 60.

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A week of unsettled weather is ahead with a good chance for showers. A weak cold front will be moving from north to south on Sunday, then turning back north as a warm front. Another cold front will move in from the west on Tuesday. Clouds will be moving in tonight and the low should be around 62. A cloudy day on Easter Sunday with a high well above normal at 86. The low Sunday night, and each night this week, will be in the 60s.

Winds have shifted and are coming from the south, which will help us warm considerably for Monday with highs near 80 Monday afternoon dropping to 62 Monday night.

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A strong cold front will be pushing through starting early Sunday from west to east. Out ahead of the front we expect periods of heavy rain, possible hail, and a slight chance there could be damaging straight-line winds and even a chance for an isolated tornado caused by these very strong winds. Expect a low tonight around 58, with the winds gradually increasing as we get closer to sunrise.

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Winter is still with us. One more day with above-normal temperatures before we get hit with a stretch of cold and wet weather this coming week. Temperatures will actually be rising as we go through the overnight tonight. A warm front that came through earlier is now tracking back north and Sunday should be mostly sunny and mild with a high of 64. While we are enjoying those mild temperatures, another cold front will start pushing its way through on Sunday.

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A cold front has dropped down from Virginia and our high temperature on Sunday will be much cooler than previously expected. We should see a high Sunday only around 46 to 48 with a mix of sun and clouds. The low Sunday night will be near freezing, but after that, we will see much warmer weather for Monday and Tuesday. Monday’s high will be near 63 with sunny skies and the high Tuesday will be near 70.

(WGHP) — Clouds will be moving in overnight and should keep our low temperature from dipping any farther than 28 degrees. Those clouds will also help hold in the warmth for Sunday with a high near 50.
