The building, with 65 one- and two-bedroom units, would be developed at 2560 N. Stowell Ave. by Bayside Mgmt LLC. Bayside is operated by developer and real estate investor Thomas Schafer, who also is an owner of the nearby Pizza Man restaurant, 2597 N. Downer Ave.

A well-known historic building on Milwaukee's west side has been acquired by a Denver-based group through foreclosure. The eight-story, 102,600-square-foot warehouse, 3742 W. Wisconsin Ave., was purchased for $5.2 million by Milwaukee Industrial LLC, according to a deed posted online by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
