A crash involving a semi-truck and multiple other vehicles closed all southbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike south of Atlantic Avenue in suburban Delray Beach on June 6, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said. The crash took place just before 1 p.m. Fire Rescue estimated five or six vehicles were involved in all.

The players bought the tickets for the evening Fantasy 5 drawing, which had three winners statewide. A supermarket in suburban West Palm Beach and a mini-mart in Boca Raton sold winning tickets in the May 29 evening Fantasy 5 drawing, the Florida Lottery said. The winning tickets bore the number combination of 4-11-23-29-32 and paid $36,872.43 each. The West Palm Beach-area supermarket was the Presidente at Okeechobee Boulevard and Military Trail.

A 14-year-old boy is facing a charge of first-degree murder in a fatal shooting May 19 in Riviera Beach, police said. Noelsaint Gulesaint, 32, of Riviera Beach died in the shooting, which took place outside a home on West 30th Street, where a vehicle had crashed into the yard of a residence. Police did not identify the teen, whom they took into custody on May 25.

Brightline trains have had more than 30 fatal crashes involving pedestrians and vehicles since they began service in South Florida in 2018. A Brightline train fatally struck a person in Riviera Beach on May 14. The incident occurred near the intersection of Blue Heron Boulevard and President Barack Obama Highway. This is one of numerous crashes involving Brightline trains in Palm Beach County since 2018.

The wreck took place on May 11 at Congress Avenue and Belvedere Road on the north side of Palm Beach International Airport. A suburban Boynton Beach man died after his motorcycle collided with a small bus near Palm Beach International Airport on May 11, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said. Paramedics took Daniel Nelson Ducos, 39, to St. Mary's Medical Center after the wreck at Congress Avenue and Belvedere Road.
