    EASTON — Talbot County resident Cheryl Krebeck spent a good chunk of her 72nd year in Montana’s Glacier National Park. From April to October, she lived on the west side of the park in the northern Rockies. This curious woman loves to travel and is not letting a little arthritis get in the way. “Traveling has been my passion, but when I turned 70, I decided I wanted this decade to be my most exciting,” she said. “I want to do more than just visit for a week or two,” she said.

    EASTON — More than half of students in Talbot County Public Schools receive free or reduced cost meals at school every week, according to the Maryland Department of Education. Free and reduced meals allow them to eat well at school. “It is basically healthy for them. They get a fruit, a vegetable, a protein and they get a milk,” said Michelle Garniga, assistant coordinator at the Chesapeake Multicultural Resource Center for the after school program. She has six children in TCPS.
