Ryan Robinson was jailed at Swansea Crown Court for four offences of shoplifting in Pembroke Dock, Aberystwyth, and Bridgend. As he sent him to prison, Judge Huw Rees described Robinson as a “prolific offender” with a “serious” criminal record. Robinson was jailed for a total of two years for the shoplifting offences, and a further three months - running consecutively – was activated of a previously-imposed suspended sentence.

Swansea Crown Court heard the homeowner left his address on Lower Frog Street to go to work at just after 6am on April 21 last year. Prosecutor Regan Walters said the victim normally left his door unlocked whilst his wife was still at the property – although she was asleep upstairs at the time. When she went in to work, she asked if he had left the door unlocked as it was wide open when she came downstairs.

PC Phillip Thomas, 40, pleaded guilty to careless driving following an incident in Ammanford in the early hours of September 29. PC Thomas was ordered to pay a £275 fine and £110 surcharge at Swansea Crown Court, and had six points added to his licence. Following the sentencing, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that PC Thomas had been re-deployed from frontline duties since the incident, and is subject to a gross misconduct investigation by the Professional Standards Department.

2 1/1 A PEMBROKESHIRE father and daughter who made almost £117,000 through a sophisticated commercial production line of cannabis gummies have been ordered to pay back just £1,750. John Miles, now 52, and his 28-year-old daughter Chay Miles, of Primrose Drive in Haverfordwest were sentenced to three years in prison and 27 months in prison respectively in October.
