The Western Telegraph is a regional newspaper serving Pembrokeshire and parts of Carmarthenshire in Wales. Established in 1854 under the name Haverfordwest & Milford Haven Telegraph, it is released weekly in print and also has an online version. The publication is owned by Newsquest.

Angle Lifeboat RNLI rushed to Marloes Sands on Tuesday, June 24, where the casualty was found sitting on the cliffside around 25 metres up from the base. The emergency response came after the coastguard had received a dropped 999 call. A spokesperson for Angle Lifeboat RNLI said: “Shortly after launching on exercise this afternoon to refuel at Neyland Marina, Angle Lifeboat was tasked at 1:19pm to the report of a child stuck on the cliff at Marloes Sands.
