Michael Barrow, 57, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with six offences. Barrow was accused of three offences of assault by beating of an emergency worker after he was alleged to have attacked three officers in Llanelli on June 18.

Just over 6,300 theft, robbery and burglary offences were recorded in the 12 months ending in December 2024, according to statistics published by the Home Office This included a 47 per cent rise in robbery offences and 27 per cent rises in recorded burglaries.

Zac Thomas, 18, of Bryngwyn, was alleged to have been behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf on Greenfield Row in Cardigan on September 21. Daniel Rogers, 38, of Marine Terrace in Aberystwyth, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on June 19. Rogers was accused of attempting to persuade a witness to change or withdraw their account between April 23 and May 23 in the Lampeter area.
