The publication first appeared in or before 1866 under the name Cardigan & Tivyside Advertiser.

In an application to Ceredigion County Council, David and Alison Wright sought permission for a development of five homes, including two affordable, on land next to the Black Lion, Llanrhystud. The proposed housing mix includes two two-bed affordable bungalows, one three-bed house and two four-bed houses.

On Sunday, 25 members competed in the club's Production Car Autotest Championship. Saturday night's rain helped to reduce dust levels for the event, which was held on the property of the family of Ffynnongain. Rhydian Davies was the overall winner, but by only two seconds.

3 1/1 Police have issued new photos of a teenage couple who have been missing for a week. Isabella and Daniel, both aged 16, were reported missing from their homes in the Cardigan area on Monday, April 7. Enquiries have led to a new confirmed sighting of them both at Llandudno train station at 8.20pm on Monday, where they asked for directions to the Dolgellau area.

Godknows Maphosa, 24, of North Road in Lampeter, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with two offences. The defendant was accused of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without a valid policy of insurance.
