ATLANTA — Toy retailers in Atlanta, who import much of their inventory from China, worry that the recently imposed 145% tariff will result in higher priced toys for them, and their customers. “About 85% percent of the toys we carry are made in China. I think it’s scary what’s going to happen when those containers start hitting in the next week or two. We’re going to start to see where those costs are getting passed.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Small business owners in metro Atlanta who sell wigs and hair extensions imported from China expect to pay more when they order new inventory due to the 145% tariff levied by President Donald Trump. “If these tariffs are being implemented, it’s going to affect supply chains negatively, and it’s going to affect how our customers buy,” said Maureen Yancey. Yancey is the owner of MY Beauty Unlimited on LaVista Road in Tucker.

In the early 00s, offbeat sports games were king. From the slam-dunking shenanigans of NBA Street to Mario Strikers’ show-stopping absurdity, once serious competitions were reimagined as wonderfully silly grudge matches. Yet as the live service era arrived, sport sims became less about pulse-pumping plays, and more about collecting increasingly expensive virtual trading cards. Enter Rematch, a refreshingly action-packed reimagining of the beautiful game.

ROSWELL, Ga. — A medical supply store in Roswell says steep tariffs on items imported from China have already led to significant price hikes by manufacturers. “They have preempted this tariff situation and increased their pricing by 25%. I do think it’s going to go higher. I’m hoping for some sort of settlement before then. But I believe it’s going to be 25% for a while,” said Northside Medical Supply owner Joe Patel.

If you're a Delta passenger in metro Atlanta who incurred non-refunded expenses as a result of cancelled or delayed flights during the computer meltdown, please give me a shout. I'm doing a story about a class action lawsuit just filed against the airline. Thanks !
