Green Cove Springs, the Clay County seat, offers various attractions within walking distance, including Spring Park, historical museums, and dining options. It's Easter Weekend, which means there are a lot of fun things to do around the Jacksonville area on Saturday, and almost none on Sunday. You can celebrate at a big Easter parade in St. Augustine or at an art show that's been an Easter tradition for better than 50 years. The weekend also sees a professional indoor football game and an Earth Day party at the zoo.

Easter's date is based on the lunar calendar, and it falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox,. The holiday can fall any day between March 22 and April 25. By the luck of the draw (or the movement of the stars), we've got a late one this year, the same date we had in 2014 and the same one we'll have again in 2087.
