    Thanks to the expansion into the Lowcountry by the Student Angler League Tournament Trail, the sixth annual Brody Bates Youth Redfish Open drew a record 22 teams. The student anglers from grades 1-12, earned $33,000 in scholarships at the tournament, fished out of Buck Hall in McClellanville, and a donation also was made to the Brody Bates Foundation that provides scholarships for youth who have lost a sibling.
