    The UK Prime Minister has said that his government is "fully considering" the ruling of the Court of Appeal in Belfast, which found that an independent public inquiry into the murder of GAA official Sean Brown must be established without further delay. Mr Brown was chairman of Bellaghy Wolfe Tones GAA in south Derry and was locking up the gates of his club when he was assaulted, abducted and murdered by a loyalist gang in May 1997.

    A man shot dead by police in Milton Keynes in England on Tuesday has been named as Irishman David Joyce. Mr Joyce, aged 38, has been living in the Milton Keynes area, north of London. Officers were called to the Milton Keynes station at around 12.55pm on Tuesday following reports of a man carrying a gun.

    The DUP leader Gavin Robinson has called on the UK Prime Minister to take steps to "exempt" Northern Ireland from EU retaliatory action against the US. During Prime Ministers Questions this afternoon, Mr Robinson said that imports to Northern Ireland could be impacted by EU retaliatory steps. In response, Keir Starmer said that businesses in Northern Ireland could claim reimbursement for goods that do not enter the European Union.
