Take a self-guided tour of the village's 10 historic buildings including a blacksmith shop, log house and one-room schoolhouse, plus two 19th century reproduction structures and a demonstration farmstead. There are docent-led tours on Fridays and Saturdays.

    At least three local arts and cultural groups received word that their awards from the National Endowment for the Arts have been terminated. The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Just Buffalo Literary Center and Torn Space Theater received emails late Friday with the blunt subject line of “Notice of Termination: NEA Award.”It is unclear to the groups what this will mean for them, in the short term and in the future. "Everything is in flux.
