Interesting side note with the new NCAA rules and junior hockey. Expect more exhibition games, or at least more early in training camp, and longer stays in camp for some as players can wear the jersey in game action without compromising any future NCAA possibilities.

Going to be interesting to see how this OHL draft plays out in two or three years. I see guys in the top 10 of some paid scouting services rankings that other services have in the second round.

That third round pick Guelph traded was originally Sarnia's.

With three picks in the third round on Friday, Guelph has traded one of them to Oshawa for a second round pick in 2028.

A few familiar last names whose dad's played in the OHL: Delisle, Chitaroni, Barch, Roberts to name a few.

Guelph has picked second overall just once in its history: Tag Bertuzzi in 2017. Will almost certainly take one of the top forwards: Murata, Warren, Wycisk, Chitaroni etc.
