One city in Kentucky found itself high on USA Today's Reader's Choice Award for the Best Small College Town in the country. I have spent a lot of time in Kentucky, even living in the Bluegrass State for about five years. While the state might get overlooked by many,  I don't think that Indiana is a bad place to raise a family. Aside from the weather we have here sometimes, Kentucky has a lot to offer families. Here in Kentucky, we also have a lot of places full of southern hospitality.

Apparently, the best all-you-can-eat buffet in Kentucky is not what you would expect...or at least not where you would expect to find it. I know that buffets sometimes get a bad rep from people, but I love them. Let's be honest, when you go to a restaurant, sometimes one plate just isn't enough. Buffets allow you to eat as much as you want. Growing up, my parents always went out to eat at various buffets like Golden Corral, Siroloin Stockade, Ryan's, Old Country Buffet, and Ponderosa Steakhouse.

One Kentucky lake was recently named the prettiest in the state, and trust me, you'll want to add it to your summertime bucket list. As you know, we have a lot of lakes in Kentucky. These lakes, scattered all throughout the state, provide guests with great opportunities for boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and some really beautiful views.
