BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – If you look purely at transfer portal rankings, Indiana has done well rebuilding its roster. Tucker DeVries, Lamar Wilkerson and Reed Bailey were transfer portal players who were highly ranked, sought by power schools or both. Bailey stands out among that group. He’s the only player Indiana has brought in who is taller than 6-foot-7. Bailey is 6-foot-11, but he is considered to be more of a stretch forward than a physical player in the post. Indiana still lacks that kind of player.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana’s women’s basketball team has made a coaching staff change. Indiana announced on Wednesday that Colsten Thompson joined the staff as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Thompson, less than a decade removed from his own playing career, is on the rise. He’s spent the last three seasons at Alabama as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – When the final hearing for the House settlement was set for April 7, many football coaches hoped the settlement would be approved that day or shortly afterward. Why? With the second football transfer portal set to open April 16, football coaches didn’t want to go through what basketball coaches have gone through in their portal.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana coach Curt Cignetti said after Thursday’s Spring Game that he would make additions to his team, but he didn’t want to be specific. On Tuesday, the picture began to get clearer. Indiana has added two pass rushers in the past two days. Former Kent State defensive lineman Stephen Daley committed on Sunday. On Tuesday, former Maryland outside linebacker Kellan Wyatt cast his lot with the Hoosiers. Both players confirmed their commitments via their social media accounts.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The NFL Draft is this week. The first round takes place at 8 p.m. Thursday. The second and third rounds begin at 7 p.m. Friday. Rounds four to eight begin at noon Sunday. It’s unlikely that any Indiana players will be taken in the first round. It is possible an Indiana player could be chosen on Friday, but it’s more likely that Indiana NFL Draft hopefuls will hear their name Saturday. Who is most likely to be chosen?

Judge Claudia Wilken shook the NCAA and its schools to their core just now. Unless athletes who lose their spots via roster limits are grandfathered in, the House settlement will be DENIED. Here's the column I wrote about it earlier this week. https://t.co/sk7BT14TAl

Some Indiana fans are getting antsy about the lack of frontcourt additions for the Hoosiers, outside of Reed Bailey. To know what Indiana might be looking for, you have to know what coach Darian DeVries valued in the past from his bigs. https://t.co/Uz3QxBqpZo

Did not know this. Thanks Suns fans!

3/19/69 - In NY, #NBA Commissioner J. Walter Kennedy flipped a Kennedy half-dollar which came up tails. Phoenix #Suns fans had voted heads and the Milwaukee Bucks won the 1st pick and the right to select Lew Alcindor in the 1969 Draft. PHX, selecting 2nd, took Neal Walk. https://t.co/uQg3fIk0AA
