FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. - This month's Co-op Community Champion says she's been working to help find forever homes for local animals for the past six years. Paige Wards is the President of On Our Way Home Animal Shelter, a volunteer-run organization that cares for animals in Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, and Chetwynd. Wards became President two years ago after first working at the BC SPCA, where she learned she loved working with animals despite never having pets around the house as a child.
