Jamey Lee Heil, 33, originally charged with first-degree robbery, made an Alford plea to second-degree robbery.

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Gladbrook man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison last week for receiving child pornography, which included images of infants or toddlers. John Thomas Carstensen, 50, pleaded last year to one count of receiving child pornography after admitting in a plea agreement that he had been convicted in Tama County District Court in 1993 for sexual exploitation of a minor.
