Italian-born Ettore Bertonati, a resident of Payneham was shocked to discover his 3-year-old Maremma, Alfredo had been stolen. A loving member of the Bertonati family it's alleged Alfredo was lured away by a resident, and found in a backyard 1km away. Ettore celebrated his reunion on ABC Radio Adelaide Breakfast with Sonya & Jules saying, "Finally Alfredo is back at home!"

During a severe wind warning, surrounded by sea foam, swimmers braved the winter conditions at Port Noarlunga. Jetties at Port Noarlunga, Largs Bay, and Normanville are left battered after stormy weather. Gordon Panton, Manager of Marine Safety & Compliance, said to Sonya & Jules, "We've got teams out this morning ensuring all the other metro jetties are safe".

Medical professionals attended a stop-work meeting at the Intercontinental Hotel in the city to be updated by SASMOA on pay increase negotiations with the State Government. Hundreds lined up to sign in for the meeting, some attending in blue scrubs, arriving directly from their workplace. ABC Roving Report Troy Sincock said to Sonya, Jules & Rory McClaren, "It was generally up-vibe, a sense of togetherness, a sense of unity".

Following Iran firing missiles at a US military base in Qatar, airspace was closed across the Middle East, with some able to get to Adelaide this morning, while others were stuck in Doha. "It's scary", said Welshman Tim who arrived in Adelaide from Doha around 6:30am saying, "It's not far from the airport". While Adelaide Nurse, Amanda Tate was stuck in Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. She said, "I think the reality is setting in that it was quite close".

St. Aidan's Anglican Church in Marden is to be sold. Reverend Peter from St. Martin's, home of the East Torrens Anglicans said the foundations of the heritage church are sinking after roadworks. Speaking with Sonya & Jules, Peter said, "The congregation cannot afford to do the repair work".
