Demographics and characteristics are illustrated in Table 1. A total of 320 participants were enrolled in the study including 158 patients with AD, 32 with FTD, 30 with DLB, 59 patients with NND and 41 individuals with SCD. Overall, 220 patients (68.7%) were diagnosed with a cognitive decline due to a neurodegenerative disease at various severity (AD, FTD, or DLB).

Capillary refill time (CRT) has been proposed as a marker of tissue hypoperfusion based on physiological and clinical–epidemiological data and is increasingly used as a monitor in shock states and other conditions [1,2,3,4]. Indeed, besides being costless and universally available, CRT is a dynamic parameter which changes rapidly in response to hemodynamic interventions, thus making it a suitable bedside tool to monitor and guide septic shock resuscitation [1].

Prediction models based on traditional risk factors underestimate cardiovascular (CV) risk in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). In a large sample of unselected SLE patients, we investigated cross-sectional associations of NT-proBNP with cardiovascular damage (CVD). Serum NT-proBNP was measured in SLE patients enrolled in the MUHC Lupus Clinic registry. Serum was collected between March 2022 and April 2023 at annual research visits. The primary outcome was CVD identified on the SLICC Damage Index.

Extra-osseous (EO) manifestations are poorly characterized in chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO). This study aimed to further define the frequency, characteristics and treatment of EO events in CRMO and whether different phenotypes can be distinguished and benefit from special management. This multicentre retrospective study included CRMO patients followed in several paediatric rheumatology departments in France, between 2015 and 2022.

AbstractMany patients require revascularization after index acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Lipoprotein(a) is thought to play a pathogenic role in atherothrombosis. In ODYSSEY OUTCOMES, alirocumab reduced major adverse cardiovascular events after ACS, with greater reduction among those with higher lipoprotein(a) levels. We explored whether risk of revascularization after ACS was modified by the level of lipoprotein(a) and treatment with alirocumab or placebo.
