The incident occurred at the Kataria Mangal Karyalaya near HB Town on May 4, during a naming ceremony. Pramila Mohod, a resident of Dighori, discovered the ring which later turned out to be a 7-gm gold ornament on the premises. Initially, she enquired with people at the venue, but no one claimed it.
