The author, and wife of the late Gay Byrne, died aged 90 last Thursday. The couple married in 1964, having met seven years earlier. A collision on Dublin’s M50 may cause delays for morning commuters. The incident took place on the M50 at Bóthar Katherine Tynan which is blocking the outbound lane after the M50 flyover. Other routes approaching Dublin experiencing delays include the M1 southbound, the M3 southbound, the M4 eastbound and the M7 eastbound. Irish Rail have also advised all commuters that services are suspended between Bray to Greystones and Greystones to Gorey. More to follow...
