According to Nick, he gets over 300 million views a month and dressing as a bush is how he pays the bills. “This is my full-time job. I enjoy it. It’s not an everyday job. We have a team of five people; a cameraman, editors, we have people doing the scares,” he said.

Adam Doyle, known as Spicebag, was selling Ireland-Palestine solidarity jerseys for €55, with profits going towards Dignity For Palestine, “an organisation that provides food, medicine, and other much-needed aid to displaced persons inside Gaza”. With the fundraiser, so far, he has provided “everything from cooking equipment, food, and clean drinking water to facilitating activities for displaced children”.

Peter and Erik FitzHugh, from South Dublin, start their cycle around the entire perimeter of Ireland this Saturday, April 19. They are raising funds for Breakthrough Cancer Research in honour of Carol FitzHugh, who died from liver cancer in 2022. Carol was the sister of Tour de France-winning legend Stephen Roche, while her nephew, Nicholas, a former professional cyclist and broadcaster, will lend his support along the route.
