1. IntroductionEntertainment, protection, communication, and convenience are the main functions of packaging [1]. The packaging has provided the basis for the initial development of food preservation systems. However, traditional packaging cannot provide real-time information about the freshness or quality of the food. Thus, intelligent packaging has been developed to adapt to this need of the consumer.
