Golf at Jones Creek is back. Well, almost. Bond Golf Global, a golf event services company founded by former UK PGA Professional Andrew Brooks, is reopening and revitalizing the course with an emphasis on making it a place for the entire community to enjoy. Jones Creek Golf Course shuttered in September of 2018. Brooks originally inquired about the course in 2023, but questions over the clubhouse and its ownership (which was separate from the course) delayed that process.

Harlem baseball coach Jimmie Lewis is in his 49th season, seeking a third consecutive state championship. Lewis, along with fellow coaches Terry Holder and Gerald Barnes, have a combined 2,473 wins and 18 state championships. Despite losing eight seniors last year, Harlem is currently undefeated and the No. 1 seed in Class 3A. As Harlem baseball makes a run for a third-straight state championship, it’s hard not to look back on Coach Jimmie Lewis’ career and ponder how he got to this point.

While Justin Rose holds the dubious distinction of losing a pair of Masters Tournament playoffs, there may be few in the game equipped to handle it like him. The 44-year-old fell to Rory McIlroy on the first playoff hole of the 2025 Masters Tournament, mirroring his outcome in 2017 against Sergio Garcia. Following a stellar 65 in Thursday’s opening round, Rose seemed to fade after stumbling through the second nine Saturday.

The media access to players on tour debate isn’t going away anytime soon. Collin Morikawa touched on the topic for the third time this week after dodging media members at Bay Hill last month, tripling down on the decision. That topic came up again after Shane Lowry’s third round finish at Augusta National Golf Club Saturday. The 38-year-old walked off the course after bogeys on Nos. 17 and 18, just for the second question to be about fellow Irishman Rory McIlroy’s spectacular round.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Right in the middle of the emotion at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday, Corey Conners is sitting in a good spot heading into the final round of the 89th Masters Tournament. The 33-year-old Kent State graduate had a front-row seat to Rory McIlroy’s stellar 18-hole performance, but he didn’t let it affect his third round. With a Saturday 70, Conners sits four shots behind his third-round playing partner, McIlroy, heading into Sunday.

I think some of those tin foil hats are surgically attached.

Take off those tin foil hats. Despite what the schedule suggests, the NFL didn’t have any extra info about Aaron Rodgers’ decision when it made the Steelers schedule. https://t.co/BL0IS0LQM1

Imagine playing defensive back for your country in the Olympics, just to look up and see DK Metcalf on the other side.

Big news: NFL owners will discuss a resolution at next week's league meeting that would allow NFL players to participate in the Olympics, which will include flag football for the first time in 2028.
