COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) — The Colonial Heights Police Department is asking for help investigating a hit-and-run case that sent a pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries. According to police, at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, a male victim was found with serious injuries behind a 7-Eleven located at 617 Boulevard. Witnesses said the victim was hit by a driver who had left the area by the time officers arrived.

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Drivers in Richmond’s Scott’s Addition neighborhood are asked to be prepared for a two-week closure affecting the northbound lanes of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard. According to the city, the northbound side of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard between West Clay Street and West Leigh Street will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, Nov. 18 through Monday, Dec. 2. The road is closing so that a contractor can install a sewer lateral underneath the street.
