Robert, an archaeologist by profession, is also a member of the University Road Orthodox Christian community. The Orthodox parish of the Nativity of the Mother of God on University Road has joined forces with a sister church in Easton to send immediate humanitarian aid to the region.

Bristol communities are mourning the deaths of three teenagers after four separate stabbings in three weeks. The police have responded by introducing enhanced stop-and-search powers and launching a new operation targeting youth violence. The first fatalities occurred on January 25th at around 11pm when Max Dixon, 16, and Mason Rist, 15, were stabbed on Ilminster Avenue, Knowle. The boys were attacked by a group who escaped in a car.

The students were joined by members of Extinction Rebellion Youth Bristol (XRYB), a youth wing of Extinction Rebellion in Bristol for young people up to the age of 30.

Although the full plan is set to be released in February, Epigram can outline the key aspects:A move towards fewer exams for students. Teaching Block 1 exams will take place in December before the winter break, instead of in January (from September 2024).
