Southwest Value Partners announced Wednesday that Amazon is preparing to begin interior work in the coming weeks at the Nashville Yards Amazon Tower II and will lease space long-term at the mixed-use development’s Creative Artists Agency office building. The build-out of the space within the 24-story Amazon Tower II, with an address of 201 Platform Way N., is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy in 2026, according to a press release.

A Jefferson Street commercial building that had been owned by multiple members of the same family for almost 70 years and that offered save haven for Black Americans during the Jim Crow era has sold for $2.5 million. Sitting on 0.34 acres, the modernist building accommodates R & R Liquor Store and is located at 1039 Jefferson St. The North Nashville site had been recognized for its iconic pole sign, which was removed years ago.

Veteran local developer and real estate investor Richard Bacon has paid $2,125,000 for four parcels of Buena Vista property, including one property that fronts Jefferson Street. According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, Bacon now owns 1003, 1007 and 1009 Rev. Dr. Enoch Jones Blvd. and 1000 Jefferson St. (See the site here.)The seller was a trust. A family member involved with the trust bought two of the four parcels in 1982 and the other two in 1990, according to Metro records.

With an address of 2711 Eighth Ave. S., the property offers 2.6 acres and a large building that lacks a tenant. The bulk of the parcel is comprised of surface parking. Metro records note a trust, details about which the Post was unable to determine, owns the property. That ownership (an acquisition price is unclear) dates to at least 2014.

A Marathon Village-area commercial building that opened in 1882 and was once owned by Mike Wolfe of American Pickers TV fame has been listed for sale for an undisclosed asking price. According to Metro records, Will Greig owns the two-story building, having paid $3.1 million for it in September 2023. Greig — who owns Chestnut Hill’s Layman Drug Building (see here) located near Forks Drum Closet — acquired the building from an LLC affiliated with entrepreneur Turner Nashe, owner of ReCOVer-Health.
