A man was hospitalized after getting shot in the face on Tuesday evening, Raleigh police said. Police responded around 6:45 p.m. to Old Wake Forest Road between Sumner Boulevard and Ruritania Street. Capt. J.R. Manson said the shooting happened at an abandoned house in the area. Manson said it appears the man shot and the shooter were staying in the abandoned home together.
