In this study, we downloaded microarray data from spinal cord tissues of young (2–3 months old) female C57BL/6 mice. The microarray analysis included data from 8 sham operation group samples and 14 subacute phase thoracic moderate contusion SCI group samples (comprising 7 samples at 3dpi and 7 samples at 7 dpi) from two microarray datasets (GSE47861, GSE5296). All datasets were sequenced using the GPL1261 platform.

Individual-level data were drawn from the 2017 wave of the China Migrants Dynamic Survey (CMDS). The CMDS offers nationally representative data on internal migrants and has been carried out annually by the National Health Commission since 2009. The survey covers 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. This survey adopted a stratified, multi-stage, and probability proportion to size sampling (PPS) method [31].

INTRODUCTIONThe eye is a unique organ that provides non-invasive access to microcirculation. Retinal vascular parameters observed in fundus photography have been identified as biomarkers for predicting cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Narrowing of arterioles, for instance, has demonstrated prognostic value in the development of hypertension, as shown in studies such as the Rotterdam Study and the Blue Mountains Eye Study.

AbstractHashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) is an autoimmune disorder with unclear molecular mechanisms. While current diagnosis is well-established, understanding of the gut-thyroid axis in HT remains limited. This study aimed to uncover novel molecular signatures in HT by integrating gut metagenome and host transcriptome data (miRNA/mRNA), potentially elucidating disease pathogenesis and identifying new therapeutic targets.

High-throughput techniques have produced a large amount of high-dimensional multi-omics data, which makes it promising to predict patient survival outcomes more accurately. Recent work has showed the superiority of multi-omics data in survival analysis. However, it remains challenging to integrate multi-omics data to solve few-shot survival prediction problem, with only a few available training samples, especially for rare cancers.

Wild type C57BL/6 mice, along with the Numbfl/fl (C57BL/6 N-Numbem1(flox)Cya) and NumbLfl/fl mice, were all generated by Cyagen Biosciences (Shanghai, China). The vavCre (B6.Cg-Tg(VAV1−cre)1Graf/MdfJ) mice were obtained from the Jackson Laboratory (RRID: IMSR_JAX:035670). Animals were maintained at a consistent room temperature of 22–24 °C and provided with free access to food and water. Mice were raised in accordance with the regulations set by the Animal Ethics Committee.
