Modeling point-to-multipoint (P2MP) coherent passive optical network (PON) systems based on digital subcarrier multiplexing (DSCM) plays a crucial role in global system optimization and overall performance monitoring. The subcarriers could support any rate and modulation format. Besides, subcarriers reach different optical network units (ONUs) with different fiber link distances and received optical power.

Keywords: Currents; Mesoscale processes; Sea surface temperature; Satellite observations1. IntroductionTropical instability waves (TIWs) are a dominant mesoscale (1000-km scale) variability of sea surface height (SSH) and velocities (Fig. 1a), propagating westward from the eastern to the central equatorial Pacific Ocean. Numerous studies have described TIWs (e.g., Düing et al. 1975; Legeckis 1977; Miller et al. 1985; Qiao and Weisberg 1995; Willett et al. 2006; Wang et al. 2019).

AbstractBarrier detectors such as nBn and pBp architectures (formed by a n- or p-type contact layer, a barrier layer and a n- or p-type absorber) aim to block one carrier type while allowing the other to pass, but require complex hetero-integration and precise band engineering. Here, we propose an ultra-thin polar barrier strategy using a 0.75 nm water-intercalated WSe2/H2O/PdSe2 heterostructure.
