1 INTRODUCTION Acute primary angle closure (APAC) is an ophthalmic emergency comprising complaints of sudden headache, nausea or vomiting, eye pain and redness and blurry vision. Eyes with APAC usually have a narrow anterior chamber angle and forward bowing of the peripheral iris.
