3. FE Modelling 3.1. Simulation Set-UpIn conducting an ABAQUS FE analysis of CFRP-strengthened concrete two-way slabs with bonded CFRP, the epoxy adhesive used was shown to provide effective bonding after surface treatment, as indicated by material property tests. Consequently, it was assumed that the adhesion between the CFRP and the concrete was sound, with no relative slippage occurring, and the “tie” contact was applied to simulate the bonding effect of CFRP.

3.2. Temporal Evolution of Environmental Impact at the Regional Level—Dynamic Simulation Model of Complex SystemBuilding upon the comprehensive environmental impact type index determined at the technical level in Section 3.1, this study elucidates the key factors influencing the MSW management system in Guangzhou. Subsequently, a causal diagram and a stock and flow diagram are developed to establish mathematical relationships among variables.

1. IntroductionThere is an almost universal consensus that climate change is happening from human activity and there needs to be a reduction in CO2 levels. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) suggests that limiting climate change to 1.5 degrees Celsius would ensure a more sustainable and fair future []. This will require changes to all aspects of society.

1 IntroductionThe rise in N fertilizer input has been ascribed to a nine-fold increase in global crop yield growth over the last six decades (Ju et al., 2009; Lassaletta et al., 2014; Meng et al., 2016), but this same increase has also resulted in a severe decline in nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) from 68% to 47%. In China, fertilizer input in agriculture grew by 271% between 1997 and 2005 (Meng et al., 2016), accounting for about 30% of global fertilizer consumption today.
