A Collier County man was flown taken to the hospital by MedFlight after a stabbing on Thursday afternoon in Collier County.The Collier County Sheriff's Office said they received reports of a stabbing on Cherry Tree Road around 4:30 p.m.When deputies arrived, they said they found the victim with stab wounds. He was flown to the hospital for treatment.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office said Lareese Mallety, 31, is facing multiple felony charges following his arrest on Wednesday. Deputies responded to Suncoast Credit Union on Tamiami Trail on March 6 around after receiving reports of someone attempting to cash a fraudulent check.

Deputies, along with the Winter Haven Police Department and Polk County Fire Rescue, responded to the scene where they said crews are using underwater sonar devices, drones, a helicopter and boats to aid in the search. Deputies have not identified the juvenile at this time.
