Well, we believe in exit velocity, bat flips, launch angles, stealing home, the hanging curveball, Big League Chew, sausage races, and that unwritten rules of any kind are self-indulgent, overrated crap. We believe Greg Maddux was an actual wizard. We believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment protecting minor league baseball and that pitch framing is both an art and a science.

It's been a bit of an uneven start for the Boston Red Sox in the 2025 campaign. It felt as if the team was breaking out in their dominant home series sweep against the St. Louis Cardinals , but they wound up following that up by losing three of four against the Toronto Blue Jays . But for as disheartening as that series against the Jays was, at least the Red Sox had a "get right" series to follow on the road against the Chicago White Sox .
