Nine.com.au, previously known as Ninemsn, is an Australian website that is part of Mi9, a subsidiary of Nine Entertainment Co., in collaboration with Microsoft. The site was launched in 1997 as a 50:50 partnership between Microsoft and PBL Media (now part of Nine Entertainment Co.) under the name "Ninemsn." In 2013, Microsoft divested its share in the venture, transferring full ownership to Nine Entertainment. The site was officially renamed Nine.com.au on June 28, 2016.
