Don't we need what he brings? Harrison Barnes needs to remain wearing the silver and black next season. The rumors about him being traded can go away. Barnes was acquired prior to this past season as part of a three-team deal involving the Bulls and the Kings. The former Tar Heel was a quality addition for the Spurs, starting all 82 games this season in his age-32 season. He’s also under contract for one more season.

We can just stop talking about this now. Danny Green appeared on the All the Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, and the Kawhi Leonard saga came up (of course, it did). We've heard so many different angles of the same story that it's become annoying. I get why it was such a hot topic at the time, but it's been almost a decade. Every time an ex-Spur from that time who shows up to chat with Captain Jack and Matty Barnes, they have to answer questions about this topic.

Always nice to hear from the Alien. The Victor Wembanyama experience has been better than advertised, but Spurs fans have been missing the big man since he was ruled out in February. It's nice when he pops up on our social media feeds—something he doesn't do very often—and he's done it twice recently. In case you missed it, here's the latest from the height-disputed star.

There's only one way this can go if that's true. We're getting more confirmation that San Antonio is planning to step up their efforts to compete this summer, and that's fantastic news. This fanbase misses cheering for their team in the postseason, and the lackluster endings year after year have been painful to bear witness to. Most of Spurs Nation isn't used to that, and it's not a feeling you cherish, so it's nice to know the front office is also ready for change.

You didn't even think about him. What would you say if I told you that the New York Knicks were poorly run? That's not new news, right? Well, terribly run organizations do, let's call it unintelligent, things on a regular basis. They did it last offseason when they made a trade with the Brooklyn Nets to acquire Mikal Bridges for five draft picks and some players. He's not worth all of that, and they're finding that out the hard way.
