Ocean shipping giant CMA CGM announced in a LinkedIn post on 15 May that its airline business had joined IATA'S emissions scheme at the IATA World Cargo Symposium (WCS) last month. CMA CGM claimed CMA CGM Air Cargo is the first airfreight company to share CO2 emissions data with IATA.

    Air and travel services provider dnata will open a dedicated animal handling centre at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) this summer. Spanning 2,380 sq m, the purpose-built temperature-controlled centre is part of the dnata Cargo City Amsterdam complex and will include separate holding areas, quiet zones, adjustable lighting and an on-site vet to ensure continuous care. The facility will also house stables for over 70 horses, supported by rigorous biosecurity protocols.

The aircraft has been at Toronto Pearson Airport since February 2022, and ever since then, the Canadian government has been attempting to seize the aircraft as part of sanctions related to the Russia-Ukraine war.
