Allure

Allure is a monthly magazine focused on women's beauty, published by Conde Nast in New York City. It was established in 1991 by Linda Wells, who has been the editor in chief from the beginning. One of the magazine's highlights is its yearly Best of Beauty awards, which are featured in the October edition and recognize the top beauty products as chosen by the editorial team. On August 29, 2022, Conde Nast revealed that the December 2022 issue would mark the final print edition of Allure, as the magazine shifts to a digital-only format.

This walk had become routine after five months of being pregnant. With the rest of the household still asleep, I seized the rare opportunity for a peaceful shower and prepared for my day before waking my four-year-old for school.

The best long-lasting eyeliner is like your most reliable friend: drama-free, never flakes, and always shows up. And that kind of loyalty matters—especially when you’ve just nailed the perfect cat-eye. The last thing anyone wants is for it to fade, flake, or transfer halfway through the day. That staying power is especially tough to find in a liquid eyeliner, in particular, which is where these formulas come in.
