It debuted in the United States in 1886 as a family-oriented publication, later evolving into a literary magazine before becoming a women's magazine in 1965. Commonly known as Cosmo, the magazine covers a wide range of topics, including relationships, sex, health, careers, personal development, celebrity news, fashion, and beauty as of 2011. Published by Hearst Corporation, Cosmopolitan has 64 editions worldwide, including countries such as Croatia, Greece, Romania, Estonia, the UK, Norway, Australia, Spain, Sweden, Malaysia, Singapore, the Middle East, Latin America, Hungary, Finland, the Netherlands, South Africa, France, Portugal, Armenia, and Russia.
